Course Number: ENGL 1301

 

Course Description: Beginning freshman course in writing with emphasis on expository writing, development of paragraphs and the whole composition, study of model essays, extensive essay writing, and individual conferences (individual comments on writing assignments, responses to questions via e-mail, and/or individual Writing Center tutoring if student chooses). 

 

College Repeat Policy: A student may repeat this course only once after receiving a grade, including W.

Attendance Policy: Attendance is a part of course grade; no late assignments are accepted.

 

Last Day to Withdraw: Friday, March 9, 2012  (end of the eighth week).  To receive a W in the course, the student must formally withdraw in the RegistrarŐs Office.  Students who do not withdraw will receive a performance grade.
